The constantly increasing sensitivity of women to breast cancer, has been witnessed as a boosting factor for mammography systems market in Greece. A wide range of advanced technologies are available by notable companies such as Hologic, Siemens Healthineers, GE Healthcare, IMS, Fujifilm, Philips, Planmed, Villa. Full Field Digital mammography (FFDM) systems segment dominated the Greek market in 2018. Today there are eight companies in the Greek market.
According to the data of the Institute of Supply chain and Hospital Technology, by 31.12.2018 the installed base of FFDM systems in public and private hospitals, independent Diagnostic centers is:
